Conil de la Frontera

Conil de la Frontera is located in the south east of the Cadiz province and is sometimes known as the "The Pearl of the Costa de la Luz". Still very Spanish and unaffected by mass overseas tourism, Conil has retained its charm.
With six beaches to choose from and over 350 bars, cafes and restaurants scattered throughout its narrow cobbled streets, it is an excellent vacation destination.
Medina Sidonia

Medina Sidonia is often overlooked by many tourists but is in fact considered to be one of the oldest cities in Europe. The remains of a roman city have recently been found called Asido Caesarina which include a roman road discovered 4 metres below Calle Álamo in 1997.
The township has a number of bull-fighting ranches and overlooks the Alcornocales Natural Park.
San Fernando

San Fernando is still sometimes referred to as ´La Isla´ (The Island) as it used to be connected to the mainlaind only by the Zuazo Bridge. Nowadays, it is a peninsula directly connected to the city of Cadiz by an 8km strip of land.
Within its 30km2 area, set in the heart of the Bay of Cadiz, is Playa del Castillo (Castle Beach) which has won the European Blue Flag award for cleanliness and The Marina Astronomical Observatory - the oldest in Spain - built in the 18th century.
La Línea de la Concepción

La Línea de la Concepción, usually referred to simply as La Línea lies at the eastern side of the Bay of Gibraltar. As the name implies La Línea (the line) is the boundary with Gibraltar and many visitors to The Rock park in La Línea and walk across the border to avoid the long queues of cars. Although you can walk straight into Gibraltar, you will still need your passport to pass from one to the other as Gibraltar is a British territory.

Rota

Rota is an important tourist destination in the Bay of Cadiz (Bahía de Cadiz) and is the home of a joint US and Spanish naval base which is also an important income source for the area.
Popular with windsurfers as it opens out on to the Atlantic, while two of its beaches - Playa de la Costilla and Punta Candor - have been awarded the European Blue Flag for cleanliness and facilities.
