San Javier Jazz Festival

Wow. What more can I say? The festival was super cool, well organised and had some outstanding artists.
The most important figures in the world of jazz, blues and bossa nova had an appointment at the XI San Javier International Jazz Festival – well that’s what the website said anyway. www.jazzsanjavier.com detailed all of the artists showing at this year’s extravaganza. One of the most important to summer festivals in the Murcia Region,
which, here on the shores of the Smaller Sea, you combine classical and
avant-garde theatre, ethnic music, prestigious soloists and classical
and modern dances troupes from all to over the world.

The festival is celebrated during Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays of the
month of July and constitutes one of the cultural events of the Region
of Murcia with more national and international projection. Their
excellent programming and the relevance of the participant artists has
taken to him to become one of the best festivales of Jazz in Spain.

Romería of San Blas has in the last become the most concurred years in
one of of the region. The remote devotion to San Blas is conjugated
with playful and eminently festive acts. An excellent sample of the
folklore, Murcian gastronomy and traditions that show the cultural
values of our Region.
