One of the principal attractions of Totana is just outside town towards the Sierra Espuña. The
Santuario de la Santa Statue is nestled in a valley to the northwest of town, this 17th century monastery decadent in striking pink stands out against the green of the pine forest.
Back in the centre of town the area is known for pottery, there are a couple of shops specialising in selling local pieces, including Bellón on Paseo Ollerías and Ibero Alfar on Calle Tinajerías.
There are a number of other workshops out of town, between the N340 and the road to Mazarrón.
The local fiesta is on the 7th of January.
