Hi All

 Well we have now been open for just over 2 weeks. The bar is really going well. We've already got quite a few locals in who appear to be regulars.

Trade is slow to start off with but we expected that since it was closed for about three months before we finally took over. There seems to be no trend to the busy periods and you just take them when they come.

My dad (Phil) is now renting a house near Corvera (while he finds his dream spot) and we've employed him and his friend (Ian) to renovate our place in Moratalla. They've been getting lots done and Marcus and I have been traveling backwards and forwards on the hour drive almost daily to sort out building permissions, orders and other stuff that's needed when renovating a house in Spain. There's probably a book in this experience somewhere!

I'll be sure to post some before and after pics when our Moratalla house (and my dad!) is available to rent out to others.

The weather was very changeable from hour to hour. The wardens were also very busy clearing away snow and wind damage to the trees and some roads at the higher levels were still blocked for cars.
