What a magic game this is. Culés against Colchoneros. United in our rivalry against Real Madrid, this is always a game between two señor equipos which is always played in an atmosphere of mutual respect but maximum competition.

Barça-Atleti (Madrid spelling!) are traditionally great games. I remember some blinders. Perhaps the best game I've ever seen was a King's Cup semi-final between the two clubs about 10 years ago. Atleti went 3-0 up but Barça ended up winning 5-4 - just incredible.

Coincidences and Connections

Another big game tonight and kick off (8.45) conveniently coincides with when I get back to the barri after work this evening - I will be firmly esconced at the end of the bar in Frankfurt Anabel. I haven't seen Cisco since Sunday when Madrid scraped a lucky three points against Getafe, who were all over them for most of the game. Champions' luck they may have, but they're still rubbish (in footballing terms).
