Submitted by Simon Harris on Sat, 10/11/2007 - 20:05.Interesting weekend's football this. We're playing against Getafe at 8 o'clock tonight and Real Madrid play Mallorca at 7 o'clock tomorrow. This means that if we win we'll go top and then have to wait to see what Mallorca can do against the merengues.

11a-Champions League - Rangers Home
Submitted by Simon Harris on Tue, 06/11/2007 - 10:00.Well, the Champions League is with us once more, but we're breathing an air of optimism after the Betis game. The first game (0-0) in Glasgow was at the beginning of a trough, where things weren't looking good - dissatisfying results and some very poor football from a team that expects to be in a position to win everything. Let's hope the good run continues against Rangers tomorrow night!

Real Madrid lost 2-0 to Sevilla last night, so this not only gives me the chance to wind up Cisco something rotten (after two weeks of enforced modesty) but also if we win, we'll be just a point off the leadership. What's more the game's at 7pm - so I can drink as much as I like and still be fit to teach at 8 o'clock tomorrow morning.
