Submitted by Simon Harris on Sat, 05/04/2008 - 11:10.As the Rolling Stones once sang
'Hey, hey, you, you, Getafe my cloud!'

Things just go from bad to worse. Madrid drew on Saturday, Villarreal had lost earlier on Sunday night, so all we had to do was beat Getafe to go back to second and reduce the gap with Madrid. What happened? Our bunch of duffers drew 0-0. Can things get any worse?

30a-Champions League-Schalke 04 Away
Submitted by Simon Harris on Tue, 01/04/2008 - 13:10.Suffering from turbulent emotions today. There's a part of me that wants us to lose. If we do, Rijkaard will get the shove and we'll avoid a humiliating defeat (8-0 or so) at the hands of Man United in the next round.

Well we won with more pain than glory. Bojan (again - how can our best player be a 17-year old?) scored an early goal, and Schalke were all over us for the rest of the game. My mate Mick said it was like watching elves playing against trolls, and the littlest elf saved the game for us.

Study abroad for career

Put yourself in the shoes of an employer: you're looking at a long list of job applicants – all have college degrees, most have had good grades and many have related work experience. After the filtering process you're still left with a sizeable list of names on paper, and although you'd love to interview everybody (you don't want to miss the right person) you're working on a deadline and a limited budget.
