UK Driving Licences Invalid Without A Medical
Submitted by Yolanda Solo on Tue, 22/04/2008 - 16:10.
One of the most important pieces of advice I give in my book is that
you should always seek professional advice rather than simply doing
research on the internet of taking information from a guide book.
Listening to Brian Deller on REM.fm bought this home yet again as he
mentioned the case of an expat involved in an accident who while
legally using a UK licence had not had the medical that is required by
law in Spain. Because of this, he says her licence was deemed invalid,
she lost the case and her insurance would not pay.
Spanish Property: From an Investor's to a Consumer's Market
Submitted by Accom on Tue, 22/04/2008 - 14:03.The Spanish property boom that took place over the last ten years seems to have come to an eventual end throughout 2007, when overall prices rose by 4.8%. This price increase is normal for a non-booming market but is very modest when compared to yearly increases of up to 20% experienced during the real estate boom.
33a-Champions League-Manchester United Home
Submitted by Simon Harris on Tue, 22/04/2008 - 12:47.I have a terrible feeling about this game. April 23rd is Sant Jordi the Catalan equivalent of Valentine's day, when men give a red rose to their sweetheart and receive a book in return. It's a particularly lovely day and Barcelona's sreets will be full of tressle tables piled high with books and flower sellers on every corner.
In my worst nightmare, I see 5,000 drunken Man U fans vomiting all over the books and roses and generally ruining this most poetic of festivals, and then watching their team thrash Barça 5-0 in Camp Nou. Déu meu! A national disaster!
